Whystor has been influenced by historical inscriptions of the 16th to 18th centuries. It is a new style from scratch. Whystor integrates particular information with clarity and a recognized noble touch. It features very little serifs and a medium contrast. As an additional it supplies a set of oldstyle figures and a couple of alternate glyphs (stylistic set 1).
