Its default character set recommends commercially produced circuits while the OpenType alternates offer more of a home-brew feel.

The font is ideal for technical ornamental titles in subjects as diverse as computer systems, techno music, ham radio, or "maker"- culture interactions. It works well in large-type posters, logotypes, video games, album covers, or advertising.

The OpenType font consists of almost 100 discretionary ligatures to give a different appearance, together with numerous alternate cuts of typical characters and ten electrical components (available as OpenType stylistic alternates).
