The final release of YWFT Basel ultimately took on a character of its own, leading to one of more special type styles at YWFT. The upright strokes are flared a little, as in Optima; at smaller sized sizes this feature is almost undetected, at larger there is an unique optical play in between the letter spaces. YWFT Basel works finest when used for display, identities, and headline copy.
