Publisher: K-TypeZabars is a full font style developed from the six characters in the magnificent logo of the Zabar's speciality foodstore in New York City. The Zabar's lettering is a jewel, possessing greater elegance and subtlety (and a more modern taste) than the typical bifurcated (split serif) font style which may simply recommend 'Circus' or 'Old West'. And it's been given an even fresher twist through the addition of a brand-new lowercase which assists contribute to the 1960s countercultural element of the font's personality.
