Motivation: We were interested in producing a more conceptual set of dingbats. It seemed to us that dingbats and clip art typefaces currently offered were incredibly literal in their significance or had no significance at all - they were a breeze, or an automobile, or a little snowflake. We wished to make a set of icons where meaning was implied where there was none planned. That way, the meaning of the icons will alter, over time, by the context in which they appear. After all, what does a bee with a hat truly imply? We are nervous to discover. The illustrations are imbued with significance by those images and text in their distance - the mind abhors a vacuum.
