Their 'universal', 'single alphabet' theory restricts the character sets.

Architype Costs was developed from the couple of letterforms produced by Max Bill for a 1949 exhibition poster. All the types, with the exception of the letter 'o', were constructed using only straight lines and triangles on a purely mathematical basis, that showed the ongoing impact of his earlier Bauhaus training, and the universal alphabet concept.
