Created by Jan-Christian Bruun, Arkibal Mono is a sans serif font style household. This typeface has 6 styles and was published by JC Style Studio.

The Mono version is a little different from Sans household, where the letters have a straight shape in the leading bottom. The idea was to make a classic mono typed variation with different selection of letters.

The inspiration comes from some old files and store signs from my great-grandfather's old gold listfactory from 1838. He delivered hits for numerous artists of that time, and different museums in Copenhagen. I priority increases to make a mix of the timeless letter with a contemporary lift. Seems it was enjoyable to attempt to reproducesome of the old characters and make a brand-new typeface. Uppercase ìGî was the first letter of the startingpoint. G represent in danish ìGuldrammeî, which means ìGoldframeî. Arkibal is originating from a practically old danish tradional name "Arkibald", only without "d".
