Publisher: Wiescher-DesignByblos is the name of a town in Lebanon and the name of a famous hotel in St. Tropez. A long time ago I dicovered their old logo design in an old french publication, simply 5 by 3 cnetimeters small with no text, adress, phone number not even a photo. They did not need that, that's how well-known the hotel and its old logo design was. Well they deserted their identity when the place was offered to a huge chain-- I believe. However the logotype, simply those 5 letters inspired me to this brand-new typeface. I stimulates times previous and has a little Bauhaus in it along with a truly modern touch, all depends upon the method you use it.
