Erato follows the structure of french and dutch 17th century types. However instead of being historic, it uses modern-day formal aspects. The simplification of similar official components produces an uniform and contemporary impression. Erato is available in six weights and in OpenType format.
All weights include basic and discretional ligatures, small caps, proportional lining figures, tabular lining figures, proportional old design figures, lining old design figures, matching currency signs, portion- and scientific numerals.
