WorthingtonFairwater's visual stems from 3 sources: the cursive handwriting styles promoted in the early to mid 1900s, the simplified, flexible letterforms of tattoo lettering-- and the pictorial themes that notified early-to-mid 20th-century marine tattoos. The Fairwater family consists of 3 highly understandable sans and script deals with-- friendly, monoline, and casual-- in light, routine and bold weights. Just like much of her faces, Laura can't resist adding a myriad of swashes and alternates to the script version. Fairwater also consists of four showier serif faces for use at display sizes, culminating in the vaguely botanical "Sailor" and elegantly striped "Deco" weights.
Fairwater also consists of a powerful ornamental typeface entitled DIY Lines: 250 ornamental characters of ships, anchors, oars, knots, rope, botanicals, diamonds, arrows and more. With strokes and percentages that perfectly match the type, DIY Lines expands the Fairwater family into a powerful design set that evokes 20th-century workmanship, maritime styles, and vibrant, salted personalities.
Fairwater Script's visual originates from the cursive handwriting designs popularized in the early to mid 1900s. Friendly, monoline, and casual-- offered in light, routine and strong weights. As with a number of her faces, Laura can't withstand including a wide variety of swashes and alternates to the script version.

An all caps, a little narrow style that has been created to have a stylized look that works well on its own, or matched with the other font styles used in the Fairwater collection.
