Created by Shiva Nallaperumal, Khang is a sans serif font style household. This typeface has 6 designs and was published by Indian Type Foundry.

Khang is a sans serif family that becomes part of Shiva Nalleperumal's investigations into monolinearity in type style. In this typeface, he merges a monolinear sans's structure with a kind of stroke modulation more common to broad-nib calligraphy.

The Khang household has six weights that range from Extra Light to Bold; even in the Extralight weight, the design's stroke contrast is maintained.

Khang appropriates both for long, comfy reading and interesting screen use. Its lowercase letters have a high x-height, most strokes end with either horizontal or vertical lines, and all letters have open counter forms.
K. hang uses a few OpenType features that might show valuable for Business Identity and Editorial designers: each font style consists of alternate single-storey "a" and "g" kinds. These are available through a stylistic set in InDesign or in CSS, or as via the stylistic alternates feature in Illustrator. Khang also consists of 15 f-ligatures, plus a "tt" ligature.
