Created by Sol Hess, LTC Hess Monoblack is a display serif font style released by P22 Type Foundry.

A very uncommon metal face made a short appearance in Lanston Specimen books and has all however disappeared from usage. In reality no examples of the typeface in usage appear to exist.

It shares a few of the hand-rendered casual feel of Nicholas Cochin, but much heavier and well suited for strong headlines and package design.
