This typeface is inspired by the powerful political and social posters by Paul Peter Piech, a vigorous artist and printer. Questioned about his limitless energy and focus on work, he once stated "I don't wish to relax and be quiet".
Pieches is a linocut-looking typeface greatly packed with interlocks, including vertical sets of letters. There are alternates likewise, and not quite a few: 4 glyphs for each letter so many expressive possibilities are open. Visual elements are also included, for included wilderness.
This is a loud-speaking typeface for those who do not wish to be quiet. Let's shout!
