Sanitation JNL consists of 2 designs and household bundle choices. p > Sanitation JNL is a bold Art Deco sans design motivated by some elegant hand lettering on a 1930s-era WPA (Functions Progress Administration) poster and is offered in both regular and oblique versions.

The subject of the poster was 'Your home is not complete without a hygienic unit' which was recommended by the State Department of Public Health. A 'hygienic unit' is the official name for what rural folks called an 'outhouse', and it's presumed the target group were property owners not linked to major sewer lines such as in those rural areas.
