A cousin of Galette, Tertre obtains its inspiration from the French signage custom. It is a screen typeface with a vast array of applications from signs to menus and pricelists, branding and packaging or publishing. It is called after Location du Tertre, a square located at the top of Montmartre - a hill neglecting Paris, made famous by the artists of the 19th and 20th Century. Alternate capitals with Art Nouveau flavor are supplied, in addition to Main European, Baltic and Turkish language support.
