Tupã is the Brazilian native word for thunder, that is worshiped like God in their mithology (in Tupi language). The typeface was established to be strong and with great impact. The UPPERCASE was carefully designed with a lot of different features, and the lowercase is a mix of little caps and traditional forms, which brings a lot of character and uniqueness to the design.
Tupã familly is made up by two weights and four styles: Routine, Italic, Strong and Strong Italic. It's a task recommended for titles, logos, posters and whatever else you think it works. Have a look at the total Specimen here.
