Created by Missy Meyer, Velvet Trousers is a hand drawn font style released by Missy Meyer.

Tall. Narrow. Spaced broad. Sounds like a pair of trendy trousers to me! Named after a tune by the band Propellerheads, this typeface is enjoyable for crafts, print, branding, and more!

Not only are there basic letters, but the font style likewise contains alternates for all uppercase letters with enjoyable swirls on top of them. Use them for emphasis, or for a whole word!

The font style includes the basic A-Z and a-z alphabet sets; numbers 0-9; standard Latin punctuation; double-letter ligatures for EE, ee, TT, tt; stylistic alternates for E, e, and t; and the swirly party alternates for the uppercase set, mapped to the swash OpenType function.

Velvet Pants likewise consists of the Latin-1 Supplement character set, which consists of diacritics used in English, Catalan, French, Gaelic, German, Icelandic, Irish, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish. And all characters are fully PUA-encoded/ Unicode compliant, so they can be displayed with any program.
