Handasi uses variable x-height values. Its design uses straight lines only but with variable dispersed weight. Handasi typefaces consist of all required Lam-Alif ligatures and utilize ligature alternatives and chosen marks positioning but they do not use any other glyph substitutions or forming. Text strings composed utilizing kinds of this family are non-cursive with stand-alone isolated glyphs. It uses our 'natural Arabic input' approach where first glyph is shown in its non-isolated type. Tatweel (or Kashida) glyph is an absolutely no width space. Keying it prior to any glyph will display that glyph separated form. Keying it prior to Alif Lam Ha will display the Allah ligature. Handasi family includes both Arabic and Arabic-Indic characters, all needed diacritic marks, Allah ligature, in addition to all standard English keyboard punctuations and significant currency signs.
